RTU

Hey Friends - For those of you who are going - an info packet was sent out Tuesday for you which had the low down on the trip. If you haven't received the information in the mail you should be later today. Otherwise here is the info below. There are also copies of these packets at the front desk until 5pm tonight which also include forms that need to be taken care of. We'll see you tomorrow.....

Rock the Universe Info:

Our wonderful group will be leaving the church for Universal Studios at 3pm Saturday the 9th. We will be taking the church bus in addition to mini-vans. Gather at the church at or around 2:45pm. Leave church around 3:00pm – staying overnight at a church in Orlando, then heading back to the church in the morning. Pick up 11am on Sunday the 10th at the church.

What my youth needs:
See back of this page for a recommended to bring list. *Note – we are sleeping on the floor of a youth house at Presbyterian Church in Orlando. *Also – Money for dinner and breakfast- which we will stop for. Any money in addition to that is optional. Your child may bring snacks and drinks if they’d like.

The attached forms include the PCPC Liability form for 2006-2007. If you have not filled one out for your youth please do so. As well as the ‘Rules’ form which goes out for all overnight trips. All forms are due Saturday.

TO BRING LIST

 Bedding- pillow, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket –air mattress also allowed – you’re sleeping on the floor FYI
 Toiletries- toothbrushes / paste, comb, brush,
Showers may be available - shampoo, soap, deodorant, razor, hair dryer etc. Towel and washcloth.
 Clothing/sleepwear
 Jacket or sweatshirt –if it is colder
 Shoes- comfy to walk around with
 Rain gear- there’s always a chance it might rain
 Personal medication
 Spending money for travel eats $20
 A good attitude, excitement for ‘rockin the universe’
 Snacks and drinks are welcome- sharing with friends and youth leaders is always good…..

Please don’t bring
- a lot of $ as you will not need it
-your cell phone
-anything outlined in the rules forms
-ipods/mp3/discmans
= you can loose them and it is always fun to socialize

In addition to this info there are also 2 forms which can be found in the packets at the church office desk.
