Another fabulous summer gone by - another great year ahead!!!
I hope this finds everyone well and excited to be back in the mix of things.

Yesterday we had a great adventure down Rainbow River on our fabulous annual kick off the year trip. Highlights include the jumping tree, ants in the canoes, the crew canoe, Chucky the goggle breaker, and some wayward but adventurous canoers. Pics to come soon.

Youth Community will be back after Labor day - see note below, otherwise bible study will take place at church for the next 2 weeks. Middle School 6:30-8pm Tuesday nights, and High School 6:30-8pm Thursday nights.

Check out a small note below about the summer with a few pics - plus upcoming activities..... more pics and summer tellings later to come.

Bless you all today - May God go with you through today's journey's

What's New in the Youth Department: 4 weeks, lots of work, great rewards....
The youth department had an incredible 2006 summer. Over 60 students participated in PCPC youth Summer Expereince Trips (SET). This summer students traveled to Brooklyn NY to do inner city ministry to local children, worked at the Heifer International Ranch in Arkansas learning and participating in what it means to seek an sustainable end to global hunger, and engaged locally with our partnering friends Beth El Mission to serve the local community in physical and relational ways. No lazy youth here - these students have been about Kingdom Work this summer. If you see any of them, ask them how there summer was and they'll give you an earful. It is our hope that they not only grew as individuals from these experiences, but that they saw God in their service and in those they served, and that others in turn- saw Christ in our students. Check out I Know What You Did This Summer 2006 in upcoming perishscope issues for more details on this past summer.
